Champs Elysees (pronounced CHANZ-A-Leesay), gorgeous even without the traditional Parisienne Christmas Market.

 This is interesting — for the Christmas Creche, the French include figures of people from everyday life, as well as the traditional Nativity VIPs.  The mayor, the baker, the teacher, the bus driver are all available to add to the collection of people who were in Bethlehem that night!
