IT’S OFFICIAL.  WE ARE GOING.  It’s August 13…..so launch time is seven weeks, maybe eight….and still SO MANY QUESTIONS!

Santa Fe Relocation should be contacting us this week to tell us all things #movingtoFrance:  packers/movers/flight arrangements/hotel here/hotel there/lease a car/find an apartment/get shipment of furniture….oh, yeah, and Tanner needs to start work in a new job, new team, new country … OH!  And it’s all in a foreign language, you say???

Didn’t mention SELLING a house (do you even know how many millions of details are involved in that???), cleaning, de-cluttering, donating, painting, repairing, roof replacing, gutters, mulch…..this house has NEVER looked as good as it does right now!  GEEZ!  (Next time I’ll post of picture of our bonus room.  For those of you who have seen it in the past, you won’t BELIEVE your eyes.)   Fortunately, we have a great realty team in Jon McDonald & crew – small world, he used to coach HS football for Brendan at Riverside – and Randy Looper/Carolina Creative is going to put extra marketing efforts into the listing (because he’s a great guy, Mr. Greenville Real Estate Marketing, and my buddy)!  Again, blessed, blessed, blessed.

A little numb, a little curious, a little resigned…..a fair amount excited, a fair amount unsure, and a fair amount tired!!!!  🙂  I had my big cry last week.  This week, I have a list to conquer!

All that being said…..we are working towards getting Robert, Leslie and Brendan to France for Christmas!  🙂

Last but not least……a great time last night at the Sierra Nevada Brewery. Happy birthday, Lisa! Huge operation, completely impressive, and the tapas-style restaurant was excellent.  PUT IT ON YOUR LIST TO GO, along with coming to France to see us!
